I am writing on behalf of the owner of an organic raw chocolate company, (see ), who started the business in her kitchen 5 years ago as a single mom and now works out of a rented kitchen 2 days a week employing 8-10 people, many of whom are single mom's as well. Her business has grown steadily each year and she ships product across the U.S. Her vision is to build a green facility in or around the Asheville NC area with energy efficiency and pleasant working conditions while expanding the business and adding days of operation and increasing staff. This owner sincerely cares for her staff and the Asheville community and has a larger vision of improving the quality of life for the people of this area as well as leaving a smaller footprint on the environment which we all share. Any helpful information would be appreciated including other resources and/avenues to pursue.
