Robert you are right, recycling is a huge step and it could impact our eco system. Hopefully as demand of paper would not end so Recycling of paper could give handsome profit.

What initiatives should the big companies in India take?

Even Government is taking initiatives like energy certificate trading, and research for lowering energy emission.

Why can’t we start with something that is indirectly related to increasing the greenery of the country. I mean something like recycling paper will lead to reduction in deforestation and thus benefit the nature.

This is a very unique idea to save planet as well as earning one can earn a nice amout by doing this business, even from a middle class person can also do this type of work. In my view this is just like a very good gift to nature and people.
